SCHOLARSHIPS
For our Summer Art Camp Program
We do not turn away talented, well behaved students who are unable to pay. We have several need based scholarship opportunities, but maybe a simple discount is all that is required. By registering early, one can save a significant amount on summer camp classes. By posting a few flyers for us, there are additional discounts. Before applying for a scholarship, see if these will be enough savings.
Our tuition, for summer camp, without any discount is about $10 per hour of instruction, or about $150 per week per class. This includes ALL supplies. Before applying for a full scholarship, consider a reasonable rate you could pay for classes. For example, a family of four earning less than $35,000 of combined income, a reduced rate would be understandable, while that same family making less than $25,000 would likely find paying anything for classes may be too difficult. Every situation will be different, and these numbers are just an example based on current poverty data.
If you know tuition would be an undue burden, please download our scholarship application form below, and submit it as early as possible. Once classes are full, we cannot add additional students. We are tiny, so some classes begin to fill in April. We will make every effort to include all those who apply, but cannot promise that all who submit will be accepted. Your information will be kept confidential. As long as we are not being taken advantage of, this program will remain in place. We are NOT a non-profit organization, scholarships are essentially paid for by the owner from his own pocket as a way of giving back to so many who supported him as a child as well.
We have less ability to offer scholarships to our after school program because it is just 1 class meeting 1x a week. You may send in a scholarship form and please note it is for those classes, but if we are full, we will not have scholarship spots available. Scholarships are not available for adults.
